Set it near a bright window, but ease it into direct sun. Strong afternoon sun can scorch the leaves, while too little light can fade the white markings and loosen the rosette.

Water
Wait before watering again
Water thoroughly, let the excess drain, and wait until the potting mix is dry before watering again. Keep water from sitting in the center of the rosettes, where lingering moisture can encourage rot.
Propagation
Separate the pups
Gently lift the clump and tease away an offset that has some roots of its own. Pot it in dry succulent mix, wait a few days, then water lightly. A snug pot is fine; these plants do not need much extra room.
Problems
Read the leaves
Mushy or translucent growth usually means too much water. Brown, papery patches may indicate sunburn. Darker red or bronze color can develop with bright light or other mild stress.
